Obsessed With Color

“Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment.” Claude Monet

As artists, our most powerful tool is color. Members of High Fiber Diet were asked to create a monochromatic work of fiber art in a uniform size. In working with only one hue, and with the option of adding a bit of the complementary color, each artist was left to explore texture, material, and form rather than rely on a broad color palette for visual interest. The result is a room-sized color wheel.
