All active members of SAQA Oregon are invited to submit entries to our showcase at the New Zone Gallery, Eugene, Oregon.
Theme
Each day we navigate a world interacting with things that have parts that move. As a biological organism, our very bodies have limbs, organs, and cells that function together to carry out various tasks. The mechanized world has gears, pulleys, levers, and wheels that work with other simple machines to form complex machines with many moving parts. We invite artists to create a piece of art that incorporates and highlights moving parts.
Artwork submitted can feature an interactive component(s) OR the moving parts can be implied. Join us in promoting the art quilt in this showcase at the New Zone Gallery in Eugene in February 2026. We are looking for 24 artists to join in this SAQA Oregon Showcase and will accept the first 24 registrants.
