Interconnected

A textile exhibition with two series.  All pieces in the textile exhibition are hand sewn and were produced over the last year.  The first series is Ocean Play.  This series contains 6 fabric hangings - all representing different scenes from the ocean.  The second series is East Meets West.  This series includes 4 fabric hangings.  These represent the Western landscape with an invisible Atlantic Canada influence.  To me, this represents the decades of Nova Scotian workers and their families who have contributed to the western culture and economy.
