The exhibition will include recent work by Fiber Friends, a group of fiber artists meeting monthly in the D.C./Maryland area for critique and sharing of our work. Several pieces have been inspired by the recent pandemic and our reactions to it. The show includes exciting art quilts, surface design, and embroideries by six local fiber artists using contemporary, traditional, and innovative techniques and a variety of textile materials.
