The Program:
In 2028, we will host four artists across two three-week winter sessions in January and February. Residents will have dedicated facilities for dry media and portfolio work, along with opportunities for meaningful experiences in town. Estelle Center's large, sunny studio, with its high ceilings and design walls, gives artists the space and time to work in peace with uninterrupted focus.
Residents have 24-hour studio access, a private sleeping room, and a $500 stipend upon completing all program requirements. The application fee is $35.
Program Requirements:
Residents host weekly open studios for the La Veta community. Each resident also donates pieces to Estelle Center's November exhibition supporting the Estelle Center Scholarship Fund.
