Embroidering Symbols Workshop with Hale Ekinci

In this workshop, participants will learn simple embroidery stitches and be guided to create designs on a surface using appropriate stitching styles. Other embellishment techniques such as stitching beads, sequins, and applique that the artist often uses may also be demonstrated. Materials will be provided, but participants are also encouraged to bring their own fabric, such as clothing or little objects that can be sewn onto fabric.
