Friday 04/30/27: 10:30am (Zoo Auditorium)
Since 2023, SAQA and the Detroit Zoo have been stitched together by bringing nature-centered art quilt exhibits to Metro Detroit. This session will explore the history of art quilt exhibits at the Zoo, how art quilts engaged new audiences in our community and the impact the exhibits had on connecting guests to our organizational mission. Together, we will celebrate how SAQA and the Detroit Zoological Society creates meaningful connections between people, animals and the natural world so all can thrive.
