“Oceania: Distance and Diversity” is an interpretation of the many ways distance and diversity affect and impact our region. Think history, exploration, geography, flora and fauna, landforms, water, culture and influences, lifestyles, communications, tourism, environmental issues, and more. The exhibition is comprised of 29 selected art quilts from our regional membership and will travel to different venues throughout NZ and Australia. The exhibition is scheduled to be presented at the SAQA Conference on 19th April and will open at the Great New Zealand Quilt Show on the 14th May 2021.
