This triptych is part of my continuing series of Alphabet quilts. To make each letter in this alphabet series quite different I decided to highlight these three letters individually, yet together as a triptych. There are two hands included. One is holding a tiny "X" quilt and the other is unzipping a zipper appliqued in a 'Z' form. For the center of interest, 'Y' is for 'yellow' becomes the highlight of an all gray background. There are approximately 100 tiny quilts, sewn individually and then stitched together .
