Unknown Stories

Working intuitively I am focused on using the colorful patterns and markings in my fabric palette to create elements of whimsy, energy, and joy. I am connected emotionally to the fabrics I use and much like using paint, I aim to create a conversation and a bold expressive energy. In this piece, “Unknown Stories”, I have incorporated graffiti-like surface design to invoke memories and/or stories that are perhaps lost or forgotten.
