Transition

Over the years the techniques used in this quilt have evolved and have been refined. Taking scraps left from previous projects, the pieces are graded by color and cut into smaller pieces, arranged and then stitched down. I took a picture of a tree near my neighborhood that had just started to turn into fall colors and was able to catch it right on the perfect day before it completely changed and leaves started to fall.
