Tide was one of the first pieces I made after leaving teaching and returning to making my own artwork. It was a pivotal in my finding of my own voice: I wanted to break free from the constraints of the rectangle.

Silk felt cotton velvet synthetic voile.

Free motion machine stitched and quilted, screen printed with pigment and expandable medium , reverse appliqu� , heat distressed.
