The African Wild Dog looks like it has trotted beneath a line of upended buckets of ochre yellow, burnt sienna and cobalt blue paint. Each pelt is splattered and splotched in an individual pattern of the colours of Africa's hot sands and blue/black night skies bursting with stars.
