After a visit to see and smell the roses at the fabulous Tambuzi greenhouses in Kenya, we looked up to see around a hundred weaver bird nests in a single tree. Each one of these elongated spherical nests is a masterpiece of basketweaving, with access through a downward-facing entrance hole. Aiming my camera straight up, I serendipitously caught the image of this male weaver in the very instant it spread its wings to fly. Imagine the freedom!
