This piece is about the excuses that we sometimes have swirling around in our heads that get in the way of simply making art. Once in awhile, we have to take the trash out of our own minds.
Materials
Cotton fabric and batting, fusible web, heavy stabilizer and fabric marker
Techniques
Quilted background with a 3-dimensional broom made out of stuffed fabric, heavy stabilized 'bristles' and excuses hand written on fabric.
