"The joy of creating sometimes cascades into an abundance of kinetic energy. My partner, an electrician by occupation and my patron of the arts, has always been a conduit of stability for me, providing steady ground."
Stray voltage is part of a new series of works that are done with improvisational composition. The titles of many of the pieces have to do with energy. I coached gymnastics for many years. I think the kinetic energy of my occupation has drifted into my work as well. Music is often in the background in my studio as I work- my eclectic choices influence my work as well.
