Squared Illusions 6
34 in(112 cm x 86 cm)
This quilt is the sixth in a series in which I experimented with various geometric illusions. I designed it on a Macintosh computer, printed all of the fabrics used on its face using an Epson inkjet printer and archival inks, and added areas of acrylic fabric paint for shading and interest. I continue to feel pride that this quilt won the 2007 Master of Innovative Artistry Award at the IQA show in Houston, Texas.
Silk, cotton, pigmented inkjet ink, paint, fabric pastels
Machine pieced and quilted
