I started quilting in 1992 with a fine arts background. In 1993, I entered the Labor of Love Contest sponsored by the International Quilt Market and Festival in Houston. This quilt stretched my capabilities at the time. The piece won First Runner-up in the contest.
Cotton fabrics
Blocks learned from Margaret Miller's "Strips that Sizzle ," color wash, fused appliqué. Machine pieced, machine quilted.
