Space Girl 1956

In 1956, when I was 4 years old, I wore this Space Girl costume for Halloween and I kept a photograph of it for almost 70 years. Yet I have no memory of why I had this costume or what it meant to me. So I created a universe of space-related images to locate Space Girl in the Flash Gordon-Sputnik-space exploration era. She is grounded by a huge paper bag for collecting Halloween treats but that bag is leaking the space ships, planets, and constellations floating above in her imagination.
