My work explores urban life through layered fiber and mixed-media materials, including fabric, paper, recycled plastics, and hand stitching. Combining collage with elements of sashiko stitching, I build surfaces that reflect both movement and memory. This piece is part of my ongoing Shibuya series, inspired by the energy and visual overload of Shibuya Crossing — often considered the world’s busiest intersection.
Materials
Dyed papers and fabrics, recycled denim, recycled plastics, tea bags and Kit Kat wrappers, dyed and stitched Japanese newspapers, sashiko embroidery

sashiko stitching, collage, gluing, mounting on gallery-wrapped canvas, hand-dyed papers
