I have always been fascinated by strangers caught in unremarkable moments of their lives. Consequently, I love taking photos in Grand Central Station at different times of the day. In the early morning people are rushing about, midday the main hall is filled with tourists, and the mad rush home begins again later in the afternoon. It is the feeling of rushing to work that I wanted to capture in this piece.
