Route 66 Cactus Landscape

This reminds me of when I drove across the US in four days in 1976, taking Route 66 in a VW bug on my way to Los Angeles from Connecticut, rolling out my sleeping bag on the ground in a KOA campground on the New Mexico/Arizona border of my mother who owned an orange VW van with leopard pattern seats.
