Resilience means continuing to survive and even thrive when life throws curves at you. Originally the design was meant to be continuous spirals, but it didn't work out as planned or expected, just like life! Geometry can be an illusion. Curved lines can be created using only straight lines. Two sets of fabric strips were sewn together, and then cut across the strips with a 9 degree ruler, slightly offset with each cut. Only the central circle and 3 swirls are created from curved pieces.
