This quilt was created for Quilters' Newsletter Magazine's "Artistic Expressions" contest in 1996. It is inspired by Claude Monet's Green Reflections #2 which I first saw in Paris at the age of 18. It appeared on the cover of QNM in June 1997. This was the first quilt made with my hand dyed fabrics and is still one of my favourites. My deep admiration for Amish quilts has led to a preference for working with solid colours.
