Playing with Colors

Color and texture are the primary drivers of my work. "Playing with Colors" was an early exploration into using a wide variety of fabrics in all the colors on the color wheel. It has a block construction where each block is the same curved unit, but the colors are all different. I used free motion quilting to stitch an allover leaf motif using variegated thread.
