Perseverance

NASA’s Perseverance rover landed on Mars on February 18, 2021. During the lead-up to the landing, I came across some variation of this line in several articles and it never failed to make me giggle. Mars is home to over a dozen landers and rovers sent from Earth over the last 50 years. Until we manage to send people, the red planet is indeed home to a small but growing robot population -- a planet inhabited solely by robots!
