In One Ear and Out the Other

"In One Ear and Out the Other" is from my Communications series begun in 2020. The ovals represent individuals, while communication is represented by the black and white lines. This quilt explores the idea that much of what we hear goes “in one ear and out the other.” We are exposed to a plethora of words and pictures, but how much of that is actually connected to us? Does it make a difference in our lives?
