Is it pure beauty that draws me to the birch trees along the lake? Maybe it’s the association with vacation, formed by four generations of family going Up North to relax. Perhaps it’s something deeper: a DNA memory from ancestors who lived among the birch trees and lakes in Sweden. Nature and nurture combine to create a sense of home, peace, and appreciation.
