Lantern

This piece is part of my series inspired by origami corrugations, and explores ways to use traditional paper-folding techniques as a novel way to bring depth and shape to my art quilts. The half-barrel lantern shapes evoke light and illumination, here provided with the color and texture of quilted, fabric.
