Joy From the Basement

All of the sympathy I received when folks heard I had a beginning drummer in the family was completely unfounded. I loved every minute of that music making. Each note sounded like joy coming from the basement! But I could never hold on to the notes that flew up the stairs. This piece is my attempt to grab some of those flying notes and hold onto them visually now that the house is quiet.
