In this period, I was trying to 'free-up' my imagery, after having worked for so long with hard edged geometry. I made collages of fish images, firstly with paper collage, then in fabric. I then intercut these fabric studies, using shapes that related to water and refracted images.

Cotton fabrics, some hand-dyed.
Techniques
Pieced and quilted by machine, and hand finished.
