Glass and Steel

I have always been drawn to the hard lines that are erected against our soft landscape. While in Architecture school, the term “hardscape” vs “softscape” finally identified what I was so attracted too; it’s the dance between creating a harmony between the natural and the manmade. There needs to be a balance. What I didn’t discover till later in my career is the softness of shadow, the absence of light. So nature’s shadow plays in harmony with the hard steel.
