I create my art quilts and vessels by piecing my own handwoven fabrics. I am free to weave without knowing how or when the fabric will be used. Piecing provides the means for more complex color and pattern combinations than my traditional loom allows. My formed and embellished vessels have “feet” of clay. These are tenderly created to suggest our human experience. The swirling and twirling skirt and sliding footwork suggest a lively dance.
