In his song with the same name, Johnny Cash sang about the magic of Ireland, my adopted country since 2010. Here I started a new pathway and grew, also as an artist. The beautiful green landscape nourished my spirit through a time of transition...walking on numerous paths in the woods inspired this quilt.
Materials
Hand-dyed, hand-painted, and hand-painted and commercial cottons (especially batiks), Wool batting
Techniques
The picture of a path through the woods was created by piecing squares and rectangles by machine. Free-motion machine quilted.
