Flutter & Flourish

As I watch a butterfly silently flutter by, I realize the process of renewal will soon begin. I notice as it gently lands on a brightly colored flower nearby to drink of the nourishing nectar. As it moves around, pollen attaches to its legs. When the flower’s available nectar is depleted, the butterfly moves on to another flower, depositing the pollen which continues the reproductive cycle, causing the plant to flourish. This simple act reminds me that change and growth are always possible, even in the quietest moments.
