Ekko

My cousin and her husband, Derek Jordan, are crazy about their rescue dog Ekko. Derek takes wonderful pictures of him doing all kinds of silly things, but my favorite is a picture of him catching a treat. This quilt is based on that picture. Any dog lover understands this. The patient look of anticipation, the focus in the eyes and the final moment when they leap up and snatch the treat from the air. Not only the treat is aloft, but our spirits as well. A happy dog is good for the soul!
