Breaking boundaries in art quilting is exciting and refreshing, allowing artists to stretch beyond traditional expectations and express innovative ideas. In contrast, personal boundaries often contract in response to a need for emotional barriers. This condition can be further reflected - for better or worse - at the societal level where protection may be achieved at the risk of alienation.
