Remembering a dear friend by using pieces of her clothes and her favourite colors.

I am drawn to things showing signs of distress - peeling paint, rusted metal, worn wood and tattered papers. My chosen medium is collage, and these sensuous surfaces inspire me to explore the tactile quality of layering and texture and to reflect about my connection to the past.
Recycled fabric, linen, cheese cloth.
Drip painting, collage, hand stitching.
