Crossroads: a point when a crucial decision must be made, an important point in someone's life or development or a significant turning point in history. There can be a single crossroad or many. They can be positive and happy or negative and stressful depending on which side of the crossroad you are on. Some of them intersect with each other which may allow for common ground or conflict. Good or bad, crossroads are a fact of life.
