A Collection

I have collected baskets all my life and have a profound respect for the artistry and skill involved in their creation. They are made from branches, bark, twigs, roots, grasses, reeds, vines, straw, rattan, splints, and split wood—pliable plant fibers of all sorts! I love the way the natural and functional are made to be so beautiful. Baskets are displayed all over our home, adding warmth and the evidence of a world of makers to our spaces.
