Choices

Bees are essential to life on Earth. Without bees, we would not have our much-adored parrot tulips, delicious heirloom tomatoes, or our grand oak tree. Nor, for that matter, any other living thing. Life depends on this fascinating, tiny creature. The odds that a bee is up against are monumental. Chemicals, human development, and climate change are hindering its existence. The miniscule size of a bee in proportion to this giant, spherical earth is infinitely smaller, but its purpose in life is immense. If only we could realize that bees are the primary organism needed to continue the cycle of life. “Let the cycle of life continue—save the mighty bee.”
