A.H. 107 Range Grasses

Upon his passing in early 2020, I inherited my grandfather's lab notebook from his favorite college course. I loved seeing the beautiful structures that emerged when I took pictures of his 1950s specimens on my microscope at work. This piece, a compilation of his drawings and lab reports coupled with my 21st century microscopy, was an opportunity for me to explore his legacy, a lifelong shared love of caring for flowers, trees, and living things of all types.
