I've been quilting for 12 years (a combination of traditional & art quilting) and have had several quilts in regional SAQA exhibits. Honestly, I'm more of a dabbler than a serious career artist. I like to experiment and learn new things, so I'm always interested in workshops or demos showing me a new technique and then trying it out. Even if it's something I don't think I'll ever use at first blush, I always learn something useful. Currently, I'm working on moving away from more pictorial pieces to more abstract or collage pieces and am enjoying that immensely.
