I studied fine art at Cornish Institute of Allied Art in Seattle WA. I had been making quilts for over 30 years then have worked for art quilts for about 10 year. Beside making quilts I was working at Japan Handi Crafts Instructor's Association as a leader of Quilt section. Now I runs my own gallery and studio at Mitaka Tokyo.
I subject the images from everyday life like landscape of neighborhood. I believe that those ordinally subject reflect the sense and emotion at that time. I use fabric mostly self died, printed, painted.
