Julie Bohnsack

I am a retired teacher. I taught special education for 40 years, and loved it. Sewing has always been a hobby.  My father taught me to sew.  I have been seriously quilting for about 25 years.  I love making art and pictorial quilts, but once in a while, I will go traditional. One of my quilts, “Dezi’s Joy,” was selected by SAQA for a three-year tour.  I am constantly trying to challenge myself and am always looking for new techniques to try.
