I am an avid quilter with over 30 years of experience and have been a quilt designer for the last 11 years. My love of color and design started when I took a commercial art class in high school. Along with the skills I learned as a Civil Engineer (now retired) my love of building transferred to creating designs and using fabric as my medium. I enjoy teaching quilting techniques from beginner to advanced quilters, and I made two mystery blocks of the month, teaching various techniques and fabric/color coordination as the year progressed.
I currently design quilt patterns and have my own website showcasing many of them. I especially enjoy designing for quilt shops. You can see my work at www.windmillquilts.net.
I am an avid photographer and have been published on several websites and earned several “Photos of the Week” within the photography groups that I participate in.
