I have been exploring art quilting for a few years, but I have a long way to go. I enjoy making art quilts, modern quilts, and even a few traditional quilts. My career was in education, and I still enjoy teaching and learning.
I began quilting in 2004 when I taught myself how to make a T-shirt quilt for my daughter and a traditional log cabin quilt for myself. Since that time, I have made many quilts but rarely follow a pattern. My traditional quilts almost always incorporate artistic play with color, value, scale, or other elements.
