Pause: Works from the Michigan Region of Studio Art Quilt Associates

Pause is a temporary stop in action. Our surroundings, our lifestyles, our very beings seem to be in perpetual motion. If not for the pandemic, many of us might never have experienced the effects of truly taking a pause. For this challenge, artists were challenged to explore the meaning and effects—both positive and negative—of pause in our daily lives. This collection of eight art quilts was accepted as a winning entry for the AQS Ultimate Guild Challenge in Grand Rapids and will be on display Wednesday - Saturday during AQS Quilt Week.
