Eligibility: National - US Residents
Flourish is an exhibition of artworks that feature floral and botanical artworks from across the country. This exhibition is open to all functional, non-functional, 2D, 3D, fine art, and fine craft in ALL MEDIUMS and ALL STYLES. Work must depict flowers and/or plants to be considered. Works can include other objects, but the focal point/subject of the work should focus on floral or botanical element(s).
The d’Art Center is partnering with the Historic Garden Club of Norfolk during the Historic Garden Week Tour to offer programming in relation to the tour. The opening reception of Flourish will take place during the Historic Garden Tour in Norfolk, and the reception will be a wonderful place for tour goers to end their day. Additionally, local Garden Club Members will select 6 artworks from the exhibition to create 6 flower arrangements inspired by the work that will be revealed at the Flourish reception!
Work must be hang, or pedestal ready. Work may be no longer than 60” in its longest dimension, and weigh no more than 50 pounds. If you have a question about if your work qualifies, please email abradley@d-artcenter.org
This is an in person exhibition but this exhibition will also be featured digitally on d’Art Center’s archive site.

Thursday, April 20 2023, 5:30 - 7:30pm (GARDEN TOUR) d’Art Center will do a FB Live of the reception awards, will upload the award video to YouTube, and will upload the exhibition to be digitally viewed permanently on their archive site. |
