This Excellence In Fibers is our ninth international exhibition, bringing the best of current fiber and textiles to a growing global fiber art community. Artists are encouraged to push the boundaries in the areas of installations, sculpture, vessels, wall/floor works, and wearable art.
The exhibition will appear in the winter 2023-2024 issue of Fiber Art Now to be released in early January 2024. Selected artwork will be eligible for the onsite exhibition at the San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles, August 23, 2023 through January 7, 2024.
The San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles is the first museum in the United States to have a singular focus on art quilts and textiles. The museum was founded in 1977 upon a mission to share and celebrate the art and culture of textiles.
